Hi, I’m Matt

My name is Matt, I’m a photographer and videographer based in Los Angeles and the general southern California area. I’m the kind of photographer who likes to tell stories with images. Storytelling is focal in my work. A few things about me. I have albinism and I happen to be legally blind. You might wonder how it is that a blind person takes photos…Technology and my current level of vision (Which isn’t that bad,) allow me to create images and follow my passions.

I went to school at Los Angeles City College and San Francisco State University to study journalism. During that time, I learned a lot of media production. Now, like many good journalists, I can essentially put together an entire media package myself.

I am so an advocate for disability rights and am in the process of producing a film about those on disability and how they are disadvantaged in the United States. (I’ll post more about that later.)
